~News From The Nest~

Early this morning I heard the faint peeps of a babe from the nest. I can only see one babe, I do not want to stress Rose and Jack at this time, so I will check later. I will keep you posted!

Miss. Kitty was taking a nap near her kittens. I made a place for her to feel comfy and safe. She is no longer homeless.

~ Mrs.Dawson laid a third egg last night..

Both parents are doing well. They take turns sitting on the eggs. So precious!

Update on the three little kittens in the garden. Can't find Precious, 5 days. The neighbor came and told me Bear was in her garden, laying near the flower pot, he was not alive. Chaps was laying down near the wooded area and as I went over to see what was wrong, she got up and ran into the woods. I searched most of today, and found her in the woods....not alive.  I believe that the cause was poisoning. I found out that the landscapers applied a pesticide to the lawn and I think the kittens must have eaten it......Can't find Miss. Kitty either. Dreadfull!
