*Happy Christmas Eve*
~Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse,the stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.The children were nestled all snug in there beds while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads~
This lyrical Christmas Eve call on good boys and girl was first published in the Troy Sentinel on December 23,1823, one year after Clement Clarke Moore had read his joyful poem aloud to family and friends in New York City.
